Archive for telling it like it is

Like finding a needle in a haystack

The internet is full of s***, no question. User quotes on gaming sites seem to fester from the epicenter of the infamous comment crap bomb.

Sometimes, very rarely, actually almost never, someone blurts out a comment so true and honest, it almost gleams off the monitor like a diamond. An even rarer treat is when the subject matter is about the Wii. Most, if not all “gamers” seem to have a hate-on for the little console that could (or rather, does… millions more in sales than the other 2). While I believe the hate is fad related, placing further evidence on a “gamers“-“moo-cows” relation, I am always dumbfounded when someone stands up and speaks against the class rule.

“why is Game A coming to the Wii?! geez!!”

“why not buy a Wii?”

“hell no! it has no good games!”

*a month later … *

“why is Game B coming to the Wii?! geez!!”

“why not buy a Wii?”

“hell no! it has no good games!”

*a month later … *

“why is Game C coming to the Wii?! geez!!”

“why not buy a Wii?”

“hell no! it has no good games!”

*a month later … *

“why is Game D coming to the Wii?! geez!!”

“why not buy a Wii?”

“hell no! it has no good games!”

*a month later … *

“why is DQX coming to the Wii?! geez!!”

“why not get it and enjoy yourself or STFU??”

Chocobo_Shepherd, I tip my hat to you.

Good job for not being a moo-cow, and for telling it like it is!

Consider me impressed.
